Mainly contains individual immigration/asylum cases which have been forwarded to the Home Office for response. Also contains correspondence concerning ASBOs obtained against youths in Sheffield, the first example of ASBOs being granted in South Yorkshire following changes brought in through the Police Reform Bill 2002; and a letter from Blunkett to the Head of the Immigration and Nationality Service (NASS) asking why there appears to be no liaison between NASS and IAA (Immigration Appellate Authority) with regarding to applicants change of address.
