Scope and Contents

Correspondence with constituents and others in Sheffield where Blunkett has taken up the subject with the Home Office. See separate series for his constituency office correspondence files during the period he was Home Secretary, 2001-2004 (467/6 - curently closed access). Includes individual asylum/immigration cases relating to Blunkett's constituents where he has taken up cases directly with the Home Office. Includes responses from David Waddington, Kenneth Baker, Jack Straw, Charles Clarke, John Reid, Jacqui Smith, Alan Johnson and Theresa May as Home Secretaries.
