Political satire: Napoleon mocks a solid battery with a single gun, flying the British flag, as it shoots him in the chest; the inventor standing by remarks that though his plan of defence was not adopted, he has shown the battery to all the generals in Europe and it has hit Napoleon point blank in the right spot.
