Photographs of fairgrounds around Scotland and the north west of England, mainly around Ayrshire from the 1960s onwards and scrapbooks compiled by Ron White containing advertisments for Scottish and north of England fairgrounds and Chipperfield Circus.

Biographical / Historical
Ron White was a fairground enthusiast, photographer and writer. Ron wrote various articles for the Fairground Mercury on Ayrshire showmen such as the Lawrence and Bastable families. His photograph collection includes early colour images of Lancashire gala fairs taken whilst Ron lived in Blackpool.
