Biography

Legoland is a chain theme parks based on the construction toy Lego, owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments.

The fist Legoland opened in Billund, Denmark in 1968, followed by Legoland Windsor in England in 1996 and other parks around the world including Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Dubai and USA.

The parks are marketed to families and children 15 years old and under, and all the rides have a Lego theme.

Legoland parks are split into themed areas including a Lego miniland made from Lego bricks. An important aspect of Legoland is education and learning with interactive activities doted around the park for children to learn about water flows, music and driving among other things.
