Collection of bound letterbooks and files of letters sent out from the Vice-Chancellors Office. Three volumes contain letters received and replies sent out in the period when Masson was Vice-Chancellor. Letterbook volume 11 is missing and volumes 32i and 33i were added to the collection at a later date. Vice-Chancellors included in this series are: Herbert Albert Laurens Fisher, William Ripper, Sir William Henry Hadow, Sir Arthur Wallace Pickard-Cambridge, Sir James Irvine Orme Masson, John Macnaghten Whittaker, Sir Hugh Norwood Robson, Geoffrey Donald Sims, Professor Gareth Gwyn Roberts, Professor Robert Francis Boucher and Professor Keith Burnett.
