Postcard photograph of Norwood standing with a bicycle. Thought by Ela Canning to have been taken about the time of Norwood's retirement. The location is probably either Iwerne Minster or St. John's College, Oxford, though Sarah Canning cycled with him in Cornwall in the 1940s.

Photograph of Edmund Jack Waldegrave, pupil at Marlborough College. Edmund John Waldegrave was at Marlborough from May 1913 to December 1917, being Captain of Cricket in the year he left. A 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery he was killed in action in northern France on 10th August 1918, aged 19. He is buried at Anzin St. Aubin, near Arras, Pas-de-Calais.

From their attire the party seem to be composed of British and North American men. The names written below the photograph include 'J.P. Wynne-Willson', presumably the Rev. St. J.B. Wynne-Willson, who was Norwood's predecessor as Master of Marlborough College (1911-16) before becoming Dean of Bristol.
