Report of the marriage of Norwood to Catherine Margaret Kilner. The wedding took place in Notting Hill, London, on 19th December 1901.

Illustrated volume, signed by Belgian refugees. Titled 'Hommage de reconnaissance et de remerciments à Mrs Norwood pour son dévouement à l'égard des Belges exiles en Angleterre pendant la guerre de 1914-1916'.

Certificate presented to Catherine M. Norwood, with envelope. 'Royaume de Belgique. Ministre des Affaires Etrangeres Certificate of award of la Médaille de la Reine Elisabeth'.

Catherine M. Norwood acted as Secretary to the Belgian Refugees Committee, Bristol, 1914-16, and in recognition of her work was awarded the Médaille de la Reine Elisabeth by the Belgian government.

Catherine M. Norwood's journal from the visit to USA, New Zealand and Australia, where she accompanied Norwood as he attended sessions of the New Education Fellowship Conference. The final page has been torn out.

This section includes material relating to Catherine Margaret Norwood (née Kilner, from 1938 Lady Norwood), daughter of a medical practitioner of Kensington, London and the wife of Cyril Norwood from December 1901, which has not been placed in other sections of the Norwood Papers. In their correspondence, the letters are often signed respectively ‘Beatrice’ and ‘Benedick’, or 'Dickie' and 'Kitty'. They were married for fifty years until her death in 1951, and had three daughters.

Birthday Book belonging to Catherine 'Kitty' Norwood. Inscribed ' To dear Kitty with love / from / Nellie. / April 5th 1896'. The book is titled Birthday Chimes from Wordsworth, Passage for every Day in the Year from the poems of William Wordsworth (Edinburgh: W. P. Nimmo, Hay, & Mitchell). A number of birthdays have been added throughout the book, and in the index of names at the back she has added a list of deaths.

Diary kept by Lady Catherine M. Norwood in The Onoto Diary for 1949 (London: De La Rue Stationers Ltd.). She records appointments throughout the year, as well as family occasions such as their 48th wedding anniversary on December 19th.
