Scope and Contents

Black leather wallet/case containing a copy of Braille Primer Grade II, Sixth Edition, by Laura Douglas-Hamilton for The National Institute for the Blind, nd. [late 1940s]; and material for a Sewell braille embossing kit from the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB), including embossing sheets and melinex plastic film. Also includes mathematical instruments (ruler, compass and protractor) for use by the blind, and labelled in braille; and a small metal badge.
