Cassette tapes containing messages of support for Blunkett received from constituents, friends, and politicians in the run up to and aftermath of his resignation as Home Secretary. Tape 1 contains letters read onto tape which Blunkett received prior to his resignation, including letters from constituents expressing personal gratitude for the help provided to them by Blunkett. Tape 2 contains letters of support following on from his resignation from the Cabinet, including letters from disability activist Colin Low and German Federal Minister of the Interior Otto Schily. Tape 3 contains recordings of answer phone messages and further letters of support read on to tape.
