Scope and Contents

Published: Alexander Beugo. Lumley Skeffington, directed to the left., looks through an eye-glass, which he holds with little finger extended, displaying a ring. Under his right. arm is tucked an enormous bicorne hat, of oddly pointed shape. He wears a high-collared coat over a complicated neck-cloth, knee-breeches with dangling ties, elaborately embroidered stockings, and pumps. Below the design: 'is known as a pretty transient insect, that glitters in Showey Gardens, delights to flutter over Young Misses, and Sips from a Most Wonderful! Most Charming! Sleeping-Beauty.
