Created by George Moutard Holland. Published by W. Holland. One of a set of six caricature portraits with large heads and diminutive child-like bodies; all are poorly characterized and recognizable chiefly by the inscriptions. Fox stands in profile to the right; he wears a quasi-Elizabethan tunic with ruff and slashed sleeves with trousers and tied shoes. Beneath the title is etched: By shifting about I've at last got so wrong; Pon my soul I forget to which side I belong.' Hand-coloured etching. Description from the British Museum.
