Material relating to 'Offcuts Voyage', not released, c1992. Based on the 1989 novel by Peter Terson, which follows a young boy who decides to cross the north of England by water. He builds his own boat from odd bits of wood and sets off, following the rivers and the old canal systems from Liverpool to the North Sea.
