Scope and Contents
Two volumes of Irene's poetry, privately printed at Dartington. 'The Wind of the Spirit' (1966) and 'Pledge of Life' (1967). Both are inscribed by Irene 'To Eddie'. They are dedicated to Dorothy and Leonard Elmhirst. Irene frequently expressed herself through poetry, as evidenced elsewhere in this archive such as 483/7/3 and 483/7/11/1.
