Scope and Contents
Papers relating to Champernowne's trip to Germany November 1946. Includes her account of the trip titled 'A Month in Germany'; her survey of juvenile delinquency in Berlin 1946; the paper 'the British Child in Germany', written by Champernowne; and her visa card 1950, presumably from a later related trip. Champernowne travelled to Germany to work with psychologists and asses the psychological and educational needs of British and German children in several German cities. The children were analysed through talking with them and through their drawings.
