Scope and Contents
Material concerning the Urban Studies course at the University of Sheffield and the Sheffield Urban Study Project run by the School of Architectural Studies, a large studio project to model Sheffield as it was in the year 1900. Includes photographs of the Sheffield 1900 project; article from the journal Urbanism entitled 'The Sheffield Urban Study Project', 1999; DVD entitled 'Deciphering the city of Sheffield urban study project', 2005; material relating to open forum series of public lectures organised by Blundell Jones, c1995 - 2000; and research material relating to the history of Sheffield including pamphlets, reports, articles, maps and plans, 1980s - 1990s.
