Scope and Contents

The Headmasters’ Canadian Tour involved visits, as guests of the Anglo-Canadian Committee, the Canadian Pacific and the Canadian National Railways, to Canadian universities by headmasters of leading British public schools with the intention of establishing the value of courses there to British public school-educated boys who intended to settle in Canada. Norwood acted as Chairman of the tour party, which arrived in Canada on April 6th and left on May 9th 1930.
