Includes photographs of him in uniform and the men he served alongside, shown on active service, in camp, at leisure and playing sports, interspersed with photographs and postcards of landscapes, buildings, historic sites, streets, military vehicles and aeroplanes, and war graves, as well as the people he met, collected whilst he was stationed in Cape Town [South Africa], Bombay [India], Damascus [Syria], Haifa [Palestine], Cairo [Egypt] and Jerusalem [Israel].
