Biography
He was born in Welshpool on October 31st 1825. He made his first appearance at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, aged just ten. As well as acting, he became a notable scene painter. He managed in Dublin from 1875 to 1877, but fell to ill health. It appears his cause of death was the result of two operations on his throat. More notably, he died in great poverty.
