Biography

Dr Anthony Stevens was a practising analyst and psychiatrist. He was also an author, lecturer and broadcaster. He was a graduate from Oxford University and had two degrees in psychology. He was a follower of Carl Jung's theories and practices, and as a medical student he analysed with Irene Champernowne, and they became close friends and colleagues. In his later life he lived in Corfu, where he died in 2023.
