Biography

Walter Segal was born in Berlin, Germany in 1907, and grew up in Switzerland. He studied architecture alongside many of the pioneers of the Modernist Movement in Berlin and Delft, Netherlands. He moved to London in 1936, and lived there until his death in 1985. Segal developed a system of self-build housing known as the Segal self-build method.

Appears to be research for articles/obituary in the Architectural Review, and an exhibition celebrating the work of Segal. Mainly contains material from the late 1980s, but also includes photocopies of articles about Segal dating back to the 1950s.
