Biography

Lindsay Temple was born in 1923. He was a circus and theatre enthusiast from Keswick and became President of the Circus Friends Association of Great Britain in 1969, post he held until 1982. He is remembered by his great knowledge of circus and his kindness and generosity. Lindsay visited circuses around the world. He took many photographs and wrote many articles about the shows he attended. Lindsay died 18 August 2003 aged 80 years old.
