Biography
The Alhambra Theatre in Bradford, England was opened in 1914 by theatre impresario Francis Laidler.
In 1964, Bradford City Council bought the Alhambra and ten years later it was designated a Grade II listed building.
The Alhambra is part of the Bradford Theatres group and is a member of the Dance Consortium, who bring international dance theatre to the UK.
Although it started as a variety venue, today the Alhambra offers spectacular dance shows, musicals, drama and pantomime.
