Biography
Bournemouth Winter Gardens was a theatre in Bournemouth, England built in 1875 as an exhibition centre. In 1893, the building was reopened as a classical music venue and from 1895 it held the Bournemouth Municipal Orchestra until 1929.
The building was demolished before the Second World War and rebuilt as a concert hall, by the 1960s it had become a popular rock concert venue.
The Winter Gardens closed in 2002 and the building was demolished in 2006.
