Biography

Lusse Brothers Inc., was a machine shop in Philadelphia USA that built amusement ride machines and parts. The company was established by brothers Joseph and Ray Lusse in 1922 and traded until 1994.They are best known for their famous bumper cars called Auto Skooter and between the 1920s and the 1950s their Auto Skooter was one of two leading brands of bumper cars in America. The Lusee brothers were the first ones to start building bumper cars in fibreglass.
